Maybe I should've watched the Super Bowl...

Instead I was scrolling through the 'bay and bidding on watch auctions.
    Ended up winning two tonight.

A circa 1948 Eterna Challenger and a Vulcain Grand Prix, not sure date but I'd guess from the 50's/60's.

Maybe I should've watched the Super Bowl and saved myself some $.
Oh who am I kidding? No matter what was on TV, I'd still would've bid on those two beauts.

Hope everyone else is having a fun Sunday!

Congrats!! Great additions to your collections, although being a rabid Eterna fan, I particularly like the Challenger. Enjoy them in good health.

Once I get them in, I can post some better pics. Although I'm still nervous about opening any of my vintage watches up to get photos of the movements. But I probably should, that's half the beauty of collecting timepieces.

Hey you did great for yourself landing those two. Pity the poor seller for ending his listings on Superbowl Sunday, LOL.

Now that Vulcain is one handsome looking watch - I'm a sucker for that late '50s, early '60s look.

    Wear it in good health.
