    Mido 00916P Full Rotor

My Mido 00916P from 1953 a very early Mido full rotor automatic. The dial is actually bronze but in the pictures it looks brown.

That is a very good looking watch. Quite charming.

Since getting a Mido I have wondered about its age. I thought it was before 1940? Box much newer?

The sure answer is to email Mido the SN. They respond in about a week. I think thats a 40's watch, later they went to an octagonal case back, so it's not the 50's. My case back is octagonal but it's hard to see.
