Military pickup at a regional NAWCC annual mart

Just bought this one last night at the NAWCC SW California meeting/mart at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. It's an early Vietnam-era watch in very nice condition. The minute hand has lost some radium lume but otherwise it's quite nice. The bonus: I wound and set it last night upon returning home - - it has remained at exactly the correct time to the second throughout the past 24 hours!

    Regards from Sunny San Diego..........Tom

I like these. Good looking, no nonsense, rugged miltary watch...
and with that level of timekeeping capabilities obviously a very good
    movement. Well bought.

Hmm, I already replied to this thread, do not know what happened. Anyway that is a superb looking miltary watch, I hope you have some control on where the missing radium went though (was it still radium in 1965? It sure looks like it). Hoping for a movement picture when you have time. It reminds me I need to find time to photograph some of my own military watches.

The same happened to me on a few occasions. Having written a reply it is easy to hit the 'REPLY TO THREAD' button
which is still visible, large and very inviting in the bottom left corner rather than the correct 'Post Quick Reply' button
    on the right.
If you, inadvertantly hit the 'reply to thread' button then your post simply disappears with no means of retrieval.

Radger, I think you are right. A web layout design flaw. Now we know.

How about it Tom, a movement picture?

Add me to the list of people who'd like to see what's under the hood. The case and dial are outstanding.

Roger that. Since it's a front-loader, I'll have my watchmaker remove it for photos. I kinda hate to mess with it, though, since it's keeping such perfect time.
