    Movement identification

    Can any of you gents help me identify this movement?

    How generic is it? How hard is it to source parts? Any knowledge is appreciated.

    I am not really certain but my guess is that it's something by Adolf Schild. If you look at this one:

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: AS 960

    ...you see many superficial differences (shape of balance cock and bridges, etc.) but there are also many similarities. The exact positioning of the gears fits, the shape of the stud holder matches up, the position of the stem release screw..... Know what I mean?!

    But then, one of the clever movement identifiers (eri213 & Co.) will soon come along and prove me wrong, I'm sure.

    That's why I love this forum! I would have never noticed the similarities.

    How hard is it to source parts for these?

    Well, Cousins UK have many parts listed for, for example, the AS 960. Probably other suppliers also.
