    Movement Verification (mathey tissot)

While this is not my photo I also have an mathey tissot cal. 722. Can anyone verify (have been looking at photos for hours) that this is actually an AS1977? I have a ladies watch kicking around with this movement which works perfectly dial up but stops in any other position. Since it isn't economical to fix I am wondering if it is indeed the AS1977 I can easily get another working movement to swap for relatively cheap.

Yes it is an AS 1977. Swap the movement? That would be frankenizing. "Isn't economical to fix"... I guess that depends on how greedy your watchmaker is.

It would be a shame to do that I know, especially since the movement is in absolutely pristine condition. Worst case I can hunt for another working mathey tissot 722 if he tries to rake my over the coals.
