After much hand wringing I decided to go for this one.
I couldn't really stretch the budget to get a nice Constellation and this Seamaster looked too good to pass up.
Ebay listing: Omega 24 Jewel Model 552 Automatic Seamaster Serial 18212407 Circa 1961 | eBay
I know Seiko much better than I know Omega, despite being a fan of their 1960's watches for many years.
I figure I can always resell it at a later date if my dream watch ever makes an appearance.
I'll know more once received, but can anyone more knowledgeable than I out there give me their opinion on this one?

Looks great. Surprised at how nice and clean the dial is.
Can't imagine the values of these vintage Omegas going down, so you'd probably be in good shape if you had to let it go one day. Personally, I wouldn't though!

P.S. - it looks like this Sea master should be a sub model "300", if the movement is true to the watch. But I'll let an actual Omega fellow chime in.

Could you add the serial number inside the caseback, or a photo of the inside and outside of the caseback?
