My last Zenith acquistion, the 1965 Captain Chronometre

    Good evening

A quick ebay impulse purchase instead of a Jenny Carribean 1000 with this Zenith Captain Chronometer of 1965 in original condition, I will have it overhauled and restored but given the price where it was sold and with the movement that matches the reference, I have not thought twice.I will buy a spare bracelet with the original invisible clasp

    Good night

    Sincerely

    Georges

    Love the case shape.
Looking forward to seeing it all cleaned up.

Don't get me wrong here, but I thought all chronometers were numbered on the movement, or was this before they had that rule

    Nice, by the way

No, this one was made after they introduced the rule and the serial number is under the balance.

    My last Zenith acquistion

Please tell me you meant latest, not last! It is a Zenith after all!
