    My Longines....before and after.

Here it is, my Longines Automatic.
It has a Longines 636.1 movement and ia don´t know the year of it
If anyone knows the year I'm grateful.

When it came to me, it was in very bad condition

    After a lot of work....

In this restoration, we decided to keep the original display

And it was a very good decision. This dial is very good condition and doesn't need to be restored.
Great work on the case, specially for those of us who don't like beat up cases. In my opinion, the final look is very good! Probably to best one you showed so far.

I would say 1966-1968 but that is my rough guess. Great watch and great movement also great restoration job

How did you get the case to look so much better? Was it plated? The watch looks incredible it went from junk to amazing. Nice!

    Tks for your comments.
FreddyNorton, i have several restored watches and I can not remember exactly what was done in each one of them. In this one, I believe the box has been restored.

Probably it was plated/repainted. I've done similar work with the same watchmaker and it was the case.

    Tks bssog40
This dial was in reasonable condition. Just a cleaning to be OK. we only notice a risk at 11 o'clock.

How did you restore dial legs? Did you use dial adhesives? Gluing pins? Soldering?
