    my "new" chronograph

This arrived in the mail today - a 1969 Hamilton chronograph. Manual wind Landeron 248. I put it on an old brown leather strap I had, wound it up and I can hear the soothing tikka tikka from my wrist. I have two very old railroad Hamilton pocketwatches so this updates my collection nicely.

    Thanks for looking.

That's beautiful, well done. I know what you mean about a sound of a slow beat movement, my favourite is the Valjoux 7734 in my 1968 Wakmann, loud but pleasantly reassuring, it's still my favourite sounding watch.

    Cheers

The Landeron 48 in my Titus is like that, too.
