It's a thing of beauty right???
Oh wait.....Let me fix that....
It arrived in the mail today. So small against the modern monstrosity that uses the company name.
What a boat anchor.
This though....this was worth picking up for under $20. This Invicta was made in the 60's or early 70's by the general style. The case is full stainless with sharp unpolished edges. The crystal does show its age with scratches and a small crack.
The watch has a reasonable 35mm size vs the 50mm monster. Yeah...50mm....wear it around my neck and call myself Flava Flave if would not drag my tastes down as it would my body to the deepest parts of the ocean.
What powers this real Invicta is an FHF\ST 96-4 17 jewel movement.
All on a vintage leather band with curved spring bars....... I finally have an Invicta I can happily say I own. Back to the drawer with the monster and into the collection with the real one. Sadly if I say I own an Invicta without showing it.....someones opinion would be lowered of me.
