    My thrift shop finds today!

So I went back to a thrift shop that I had gotten an old timex and paul breguet watch pretty cheap. He had a box of some quartz watches and what looked like some vintage ones. I picked out 4 watches and he said $50.
The bulova is running but needs a service badly, toploader also so I can't check the movement right now. The Orvin is running nicely. The Omega and Eterna are not running. Gonna try and open what I can for movements in a bit. Don't know much about the Eterna or Orvin. The Bulova is a 1958. Not sure on the omega for dating.

Here's the Omega. Looks like a 1949-1952, Bumper movement (342). Balance looks ok but not sure how much movement it takes for the bumper to power the watch up.

Next is the Eterna. 21 rubis, brevete, ser#4076138 I think dates it to about 1956.

Next is the Orvin. 17j AS1221 (50X, sox ??). I think this dates to about 1950. I wound this up and seems to be running nicely so far.

Any extra info on these that anyone would like to contribute would be greatly appreciated. I'm gonna keep the bulova and hopefully get it serviced down the road. Would the Omega and Eterna be worth getting checked out?

Shouldn't the Omega have springs for the bumper..

Yep, this movement is suppose to have concealed buffer springs. The balance seems to be nice. I can see the bumper barely winding the watch. About 2-3 gear teeth with each cycle. The hour hand is not turning but the minute hand moves freely. I'm actually thinking this watch is also just in need of a good servicing.
