    My vintage 1969 model Seiko-5

I had originally posted this under the superb "Vintage Seiko Ad" thread started by Isthmus in the Seiko-Citizen forum. Then it struck me this watch really qualifies as a vintage and belongs here. It is in original condition except for the bracelet and runs -6 seconds a day.

    Cheers!

Thanks! It belonged to my late grandfather and came to my father first, who put it away after he was bitten by the quartz bug (he still wears nothing else!). After joining WUS and becoming interested in mechanical watches, I was rummaging through the attic in my home hoping to find some old HMT watches. But found this Seiko and a Favre-Leuba (also posted in this forum). Just "borrowed" the Seiko without telling my father.

I invite other members to post their vintage Seikos under this thread. The only request is the watch should be at least 25 years old.
