    my vintage Citizen

    Hi All,
I guess most of my collection in some way or another is made up of vintage watches. This is one that I am wearing today. I bought it years ago on ebay and then tried to find a strap that would match the style I wanted it to. I don't know why, but I call it my Batman watch. I love the era it was made mostly because I grew up during that period. It loses maybe 2 to 3 minutes a day, but I can deal with that.

I introduce you to my Citizen "Batman" watch!

nice watch, what makes me laugh is when Bulova reintroduced the snorkel diver, people reviewers were bad mouthing the nameplate on the dial, it is of similar design with the letters connected at the bottom.

That watch is quite ugly and just screams late 1970's/early 1980's

Quite frankly I think that watch is pretty cool

If I could get one that is red and black, I would call it my Strongbad watch (Strongbad is a character on a internet series)

what watch is ugly and what watch is cool, if you think the bulova is ugly that's fine, opinions vary, the reviewers complaints were about the nameplate only.
I like it and This citizen as well.

What a cool and uniquely styled watch! Watches speak to people. It doesn't have to meet the approval of everyone...just you! I personally think watch designers need to be more bold and daring from time to time. Most vintage watches are white/silver dial, gold or silver-tone markers with gold or silver-tone hands. I have a Tressa with gaudy 70s blue, green, red colors and I love it!

The Citizen watch in my opinion is both ugly and cool.

The Bulova Snorkel, It is a cool watch and I have no issues with the name. It is a watch for the water so snorkel is a perfect name. I think the reissue of the watch is pretty nice and does not look that far off from the original.(unlike Seiko which created a Turtle diver to evoke the 6309 diver and then screwed it up with all the wording on the dial.
