I assume it's a 17 jeweled winder? Except for the lume it could be the '40s... but I think it's the '60s.

    Hmmmmm...

60s, huh...I could live with that.

This is a seller's pic of the movement:

    perhaps a caliber 261

I haven't opened the case due to a lack of the proper wrench.
Perhaps I'll manage to open it oneday.

    Hi -

Late 1950s or early 1960s. The lume is truly outstanding for a watch of this age, may have been redone: my Gruens from this time period are much weaker (or have tritium lumes, which have a relatively short half-life, but don't need to be illuminated to shine at night.

    Lovely indeed.

    Nice Movado , Bujumon .

Your watch most probably is from the 60´s as the trademark logo : the M over flat V (the Hat) was registered in the late 50´s .

I hadn´t seen this kind of signature in a Movado crown .

    Saludos

I've seen a logo of a hand holding a pocket watch in the backs of Movadi. I'll hazard a guess that it is that and therefore genuine.

    Re: My Vintage Movado...

    Thanks for the comments/info gentlemen.
I had been advised that the lume was likely redone
due to its intensity. I does glow like the dickens though.

The watch winds, sets, and runs like new. It was an early buy and
I probably paid top notch for it when I bought it. I guess I got
lucky on that one (cause I bought some dogs early on).

The crown is def different, I would be curious to try and
    sort that out.
    Thanks again.

    Peace,
    Scott
