    My Vintage Roamer

I've had this for a few years now and can't explain why I haven't posted pictures of it here, but here it is. I estimate it to be late 1930's, but would welcome expert opinions. I don't have a movement shot and it's been a while since I've been in there, but I'll try to take a fresh one. It's serviced and runs great. I wore it Sunday and had my camera with me, so I snapped a few wrist shots. It wears fairly big for the era. It's not quite 28x40mm or so.

I love this vintage and aesthetic and this is the best example of it I've ever owned. If anyone has any thoughts or is a Roamer expert, I'd love your observations.

Ver nice - to me, that watch has "1940s" written all over it, but the late thirties would also be possible.....

A very nice watch from the early 40s.
The second hand has been probably replaced.

Very nice. I would go along with the 1940s. Got to love the hands and that multi-color dial.

Here's a movement shot and one of the dial, not through the crystal. I think it's a MST 352.

I couldn't get a pic of the inside of the caseback, but it says "Libon Watch Co. Swiss" and on the outside "stainless steel back 1064 153"

Thanks to everyone who's replied. I should have shared this watch here a long time ago, but appreciate everyone's ideas about it. I didn't find an obvious date range on the movement. Not that it matters, but it's nice to know about watches that we're attached to.

I'm sold on the 40's as well. All movement references are from the 40's or early 50s and I found a few similar 2-tone Roamer dials attributed to the early 40s.

    I'd go along with a Cal. 352. Or a Ca. 364 if it is a little larger (11.5''' = 25.6mm):

I pulled the balance cock off and confirmed that it is in fact a Ca. 352, for what it's worth.

    Re: My Vintage Roamer

Thanks, mine is a 17 jewel 352. Would be great to know which years which configurations were used, but if it's not there or or Dr. Ranfft's site, I can't imagine it's anywhere.

It's a very consistent movement. Running great for me, has some nice finish. I've been through a few similar watches from this era and I feel lucky to have found this one.
