    N0 Bulova Automatic

My neighbor is letting me evaluate his deceased brother's Bulova. It is a good looking, all SS watch. The bad news is that the oscillating rotor is broken. The good news is that they are plentiful on eBay. It's interesting that the dial has the tuning fork logo, but this model is not an Accutron. I thought the tuning fork was reserved for the Accutron models.

Anyway, a few pics below. I might make him an offer.

If I'm not mistaken, Bulova still used the Accutron logo on their watches regardless of the tuning fork movements. It was mostly a sales thing. I thought it started a little later than 1970 but I may be wrong.

Rotor doesn't seem to be broken, just missing the screw. What are the odds the screw is rattling around in there?

I think all the screws are accounted for. The center does not require a screw, as much as it looks like one should go there. I ended up buying it from my neighbor. I might have it serviced for my father in law as a bday gift. Then again might flip it to pay for an incoming watch for which I paid too much. Lol!
