Need to get some vintage Bulova Astronauts serviced

Hey all. I have three Astronauts (214 tuning fork movements) that I need to get serviced. I'm in the DC area. Can anyone recommend someone (must be stateside, wouldn'tbe bad if they were "near" DC) who can service these guys?

    Recommendations are appreciated!

Have you checked this thread (https://forums.watchuseek.com/f705/d...d-4647945.html ) in the Accutron, Bulova, & Caravelle forum?

I just sent a hummer off to Thailand for service.

Good luck in the search and the Accutron forum is always happy to answer any questions you may have!

The Bulova hummers are much harder to service than the ESA hummers. You will have to use a specialist. My watchmaker has enough work he won't even touch 'oddball' movements. Good servicing is getting harder and harder for esoteric collectors. Alas....

Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

Annandale Watch and Clock in Annandale VA. The watchmaker and owner of the establishment is quite capable of servicing tuning fork movements. He might take a couple of months to do it as he is a 1 person shop. His work is top notch.
