Need help finding dial for LeCoultre Tank!!!!!

    Hi everyone

i recently bought a Lecoultre cal. 11LO tank
However, the dial is in a unsatisfactory condition (at least to me) and i would like to ask if anyone could point me in the right direction for sourcing an NOS dial or at least one in good used condition?
The model is relatively common and the movt was widely used so i would think it wont be too hard to find one but i had no luck on ebay
could someone point me to the right direction?
    Thanks! :)

This is not my watch but it has the exact same dial and movt. The case on mine however has hooded lugs

Outside of buying another, it's going to be difficult to find another dial for this watch.

Yes, it's a fairly common model with a fairly common movement. But unless you find the exact same watch with the exact same case, there's a good chance that even if you find an acceptable dial, it may not fit.

These watches had very little water resistance and the dials were affected by all sorts of environmental problems from humidity to nicotine smoke. Many were refinished as part of routine servicing in the old days.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

    Thanks gator!
Nahh its fine, i am okay with wearing the watch as is, just the dial bothers me a little bit because someone had tried to clean it a little too harshly and this ended up rubbing off a small portion of the markings at the side.
I am just happy that i would be able to wear a quality vintage dress piece when it returns from its service. :)

    Hi gator,

    apologies for bumping the thread
If i found a dial that was made for the same calibre and has the same dimensions as my dial, can i assume that it will be a fit?
Also, i am considering a redial as well. do you have anyone to recommend and any idea on the cost?
I am located currently in asia but i am ok sending out the dial overseas

    Regards,

I don't you can assume anything, you can try it. It might just fit.

On the redial, I have no one I can recommend.
