I found this pocket watch which belonged to my grand father. The brand is Creation. It says 17 rubis and swiss made on the dial, has a thermometer on the other side(handy eh...).
I was frustrated to find no information on google, except for a couple of ebay listings of wrist watches of the same brand. Would be greatful for knowledge of my grandpa's favorite watch.

I've never seen this construction before. The dial and hands from the watch side would be quite typical for a wristwatch out of the 1950 ties in germany. A goldplatet case would also math with this aera. HPF is the mark of Fritz Huguenin a casemaker in Switzerland Mikrolisk - The horological trade mark index. In this database you also find some makers who use the brand name creation.

Thanks for the quick reply and the link.

So the maker 'creation' is not one of the better known brands. This explains the lack of information on google. '50s much older than i expected. Will photos of the movement help wih identifying? Is it usual for pocket watches to have secondary functions i.e.thermometer?

Of course the movement always help for identification and dating if it can get identified. I expect a commun wristwatch movement. The maker isn't a well known band and probabbly he don't use "selfmade" movements.
Secondary functions you sometimes find in pocket watches nearly since they excist . Alarm or Calender functions excist since at least three centuries. Chronographs are nothing else than integratet stopwatches . Of course these are all comlications who work together with the movement . In the end of the 19 century a simple compass as singel "apperation" was often integratet within the movement. This help for detecting the location but I think it was often more decoration . I've seen a thermometer in form of a glass tube once also added to a movement but this is strange. It was definetly not usuall and as I told you, I've never seen this combination before and I miss a bid the sence in combination with "time".

The "Creation Watch Co." was founded in 1948 according to Mikrolisk. I agree that this will have a small ladies' watch movement inside

41degC seems a little high for the temperature inside a pocket...

The movement should be a FEF 250 (market under the balance)

Yes I would say FEF 250 match. Roland date it around 1965. If you look at the shock protection there is an incabloc one. Here I see a trielastic ??? ore something simular. Therefore I guess its a few years younger.
