Welcome to the forum. The Zenith star makes me wonder a little. When Zenith and Movado (and Mondia) started to cooperate in 1969, Zenith still used the star, but Movado has an "M" symbol and I have never seen the two mix logos on the dial. After 1972, when the whole lot was taken over by Zenith electronics corporation, they started to use the square logo used by Zenith until ca. 2000. I presume that the watch will have a Cal. 25x2 PC in it (the x is a number equal to or higher than 4). Any pictures of the rest (back and movement)?
It was givin to my grandfather as a 25 years of service gift from his company Washburn Wire Co. 1947-1972. Thats what is engraved on the back... as well as the SUB SEA engraving. So I kind of guestimate the date of the watch to be 1971-72... That star is driving me crazy tho... I have not seen one other movado out there with a star.
Once I get it opened up I'll post some pics.
