    Need help identifying a Gerrard-Perregaux

    Hello you all!

I wonder if you could help identifying this watch from Gerrard-Peregaux.
I just know that's from the 50's. I've been looking at the brands' website but I couldn't find anything that looked like this.

    Thanks for your help.

It looks like a redialed watch. Horribly I might add. I believe the movement is an Adolph Schild, you could search Dr. Ranfft's database for a definitive answer. Also that is a ridiculous price for that watch it's definitely not worth it.

    Thanks for your answer, emmanuelgoldstein.
Well, I don't think that the watch is that ugly but you can't discuse taste. But, like you, I also think that it's not worth the money. That's why I offered the guy 50$ for it. If he takes it, ok. If not, no bad...

I think EM meant that the redial was badly done rather than that the watch was ugly.,

Yes that is exactly what I meant. It's a shame when people refinish dials and they don't do it properly. I bet that watch was beautiful when it was first released.

That watch went for about double of what I would have paid for it. I might have to sell my Gyromatic, at these prices I could pocket $500.
