Moved to Vintage. ID is not possible without a clear picture of the movement and serial number.

Welcome to the forum. I have to concur with Ray - pictures of the movement would be important. However, opening up a piece like this should only be done by a specialist anyway to prevent the possibility of nasty scratches on the case. A lot of Patek models didn't really have a model name but all of them will have had a reference number (usually comprising four numerals). This should be on the inside of the case back.

    Agreed

I am sure you have a 100% genuine Patek Philippe here
    Lucky you.
Once you have serial number details - Patek Philippe can confirm all provenance

    Great looking watch

Thanks so much for the info all! I'll check that out and see what it truly is!

another quick question I have: she accidentally replaced the Patek straps a while back without thinking, can any of you recommend a place to buy genuine Patek strap? Or do you think the strap doesn't impact the value enough to justify it?

Lastly, where would I get the best value to sell this watch once I get the serial number?

i truly appreciate you all helping the rookie with this!

Search for a Patek Authorised distributer.
But if you are going to sell the watch - not sure I would bother

Why, are they hard to sell? Depreciating? Like I said in the post, it's for my grandmas medical bills.

    No, I never said that.
But buying an expensive strap may not get you any additional profit.
Hence try to sell as it is.
I hope sincerely you can sell to help your Grandma - that is a noble and kind gesture

Oh! Haha, I thought you meant about the watch in general, not the strap! You had me worried there for a second!

Do you have any recommendations as to where to sell it?

    thanks again!

    My ONLY experience is Ebay
You can do a WW search of Patek Philippe - include completed sales. It will give you an idea on price.

You can also offer on sales forum of WUS
