Need help identifying this Technos watch.

I just bought this watch at an estate sale the other day. I was hoping someone more knowledgable could help fill in the history behind this piece. On the back it reads:
    "Les Nostalgiques"
    "12 407"
    "T 370929"

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Moving to Vintage forum.

Les Nostalgiques implies to me that it is a modern reissue of a 1920's watch.

A photo of the movement would confirm this either way.

agree. looks suspiciously not vintage. the "swiss made" is too bold, maybe?

I doubt its an actual 1920s era watch. The previous owner is 91, and heard he bought it in the 1950s.... I plan on taking it to a watch repair shop and basically give it a tune up and a proper strap.

The Technos brand was sold during the early 1980's first to a Japanese Importer and then in the late 80's to a Brazilian company that produces Miyota designed watches. I think that the early 1950's is a good quess, because both Hamilton and Bulova had Art Deco derived boxes, at the time. It wouldn't surprise me that someone would offer an Art Deco watch. We have recently seen reissues of Iconic 1970's watches like the Eterna IDF issue Kontiki why not an Iconic 20's design in the 50's.

well the dial says " T SWISS MADE T " that means it has tritium lume. tritium wasn't really in use until the 60's and 70's maybe? someone correct me since I haven't done any research on when tritium lume was first used.
