    Need help identifying these watches

Hi there Omega Forums! I've been following this forum for a while now and have been reading for the past couple of months. But this is my first time posting on this forum :) so please go easy on me!

I am very new to vintage and I just bought couple of watches from Ebay. I've been buying pretty affordable watches because simply I am new and I wanted to start with not too expensive watches. However, I'm afraid that I might have made couple of mistakes by not really understanding the watch type and there's a possibility they are fake and not genuine :( I'm going to post some photos of the watches that I got from Ebay.

Can you guys please help me to identify the price approximately and also if they are fake or real or even maybe they have been redialed or refinished? I apologize if some of the questions are stupid, but I have researched for information about the watch but I'm still not sure of the details of the watch.

First of all : Omega Seamaster Deville

Apart from the case has been polished, why the caseback has no logo on it? I thought there should be a seamonster logo on the back. Could it be a fake? The seller also didn't post the movement because he / she said they need to be opened by a watch maker because the case has to be opened from the top. I know it was not wise to buy a watch without seeing the movement but I got it for a pretty decent price. It would be great if you guys can tell me what is the movement type as well because the seller didn't know :( Also, do you know the price approximately for this watch?

    Second : Chronographe Suisse

Can you guys tell me about the brand? I did my research and people have said that this is not a big brand. It was meant for tourists who went to Swiss and wanted to bring back a Swiss made watch as a souvenir. Any idea if this has been redialed? Do you know the price approximately for this watch?

    Third : Mirexal Chronograph Panda

I simply bought this because it is Panda dial and it's vintage. I know the brand Mirexal itself is very small and it is a brand that was sold in department stores back in the days. Can you guys tell me more about the brand and this type specifically? I got it for the cheapest price compared to the other two, but do you guys know the price approximately for this watch?

That's it for now. Again, thank you so so much for reading this post and for responding to it. I really appreciate it :)

Thank you! But still I'm not sure if it's genuine or not :( since I don't know the movement or have a photo of the movement. Maybe anyone have a hint of what probably the movement is? Based on my research, I expected it's a Cal. 563 maybe?

I'm not sure why you're so keen to have prices, since you already purchased the watches, but valuations are not given on this forum, please read the "sticky" thread. Hopefully you're not just trying to tap into our expertise so you can turn around and re-sell them.

Chronographe Suisse is a gold-plated redial with a Landeron 48 movement or variant.

Mirexal is a bit better - a Valjoux 7733 (or something similar), although still a plated case. Dial and hands may be original, but better photos would be needed.

You will need to have the Omega opened up and post photos of the movement and inside case-back. Dial looks ok at first glance, but the case is badly worn and the crown is a replacement.

Sorry I didn't know that! I'm asking for the price range not because I wanted to resell them believe me. But I'm just afraid I paid more than it's supposed to be.

But I bought the Omega for $320, Chronograph Suisse for $460 and Mirexal for $225.

Thanks again for all the information that you gave me :) Does the caseback of the omega doesn't supposed to have the seamonster logo on it? Is it because of the type of the watch?

Also, what do you mean by case is badly worn? Sorry again, I'm a newb in all these things!

Re: Need help identifying these watches

I don't think that all of those Omega models have the logo on the back, but I don't know which ones do and which ones don't. Someone else will probably know. Obviously, the case is showing significant wear, which is a common problem with plated cases (i.e. the base metal is showing through on the lugs). We will still need more photos of the inside of the Omega to verify authenticity/originality.

I think you may have done well on the Mirexal. How large is it? Good quality movement, nice dial and hands, the plating on the case looks ok in the photos.

This is just my opinion, but I feel you overpaid for the Chronographe Suisse. They are low quality watches to begin with, and this one is a redial. I generally advise people to stay away from them. You should consider returning it if possible.
