    Need help identifying this watch

    Hi everyone
I have two watches left to me by my grandfather and am looking for any info on them.

The first is silver and has the lion symbol on it and also has an anchor.
It has the letter M and what looks to be a makers mark which is
    S.E

Its a key wind mechanism and is roman numeral numbered.

    silver hunter watch
570960 on mechanism plate at back
    597690 on watch case back
    H 14 N on back case
570960 stamped on mechanism plate at the back
597690 stamped on the back of the watch case
    H
    14
    N
is stamped on the back inside the case
I know its made in Birmingham England.

The gold watch has the following details

    1326903 on mechanism case
97452 on side of inside case
    gen stark
also marked DUEBER ON ANCHOR EMBLEM
    SPECIAL4597452

Dueber and Hamden were closely related I forget who owned who but the Hamden SN list puts your watch as being built in 1899. I sure some of the PW experts will weigh in with more precise information.

The Hampden was produced in 1900. General Stark is the grade name and a total of 74000 were made of this grade. It is a 12 size 15 jewel watch. Hampden Watch Co as it was named then was owned by the Dueber Watch Case Co, so a correct case/movement. I assume the anchor in the Dueber Special marking inside the caseback is engraved, not raised. That will make it a 14K gold filled case.

The silver cased watch is not a hunter, it is open face. Can you get a sharper picture of the inner caseback markings? If Birmingham, the date letter looks like 1911 to me...
