    Need help ID'ing this Wittnauer

    Hello all.
I've searched high and low for an ID on this watch. What I know: It's a Wittnauer, ~circa 1950 (according to previous owner). 10K goldfilled bezel front, stainless steel back. No other identifying marks. The band is not original. Requires a special tool to remove the back which I do not have, nor did the previous owner.

Any help or even educated guesses would be appreciated. Cheers.

Sorry but this looks like an indistinct picture of two watches to me... The company imported a number of Swiss ebauches for encasement in the US during the period you discuss. Without movement pics I can't say much more.

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!
