Need Help with Infromation regarding this watch..

My grandfather recently passed away and I found an old watch in the loft while clearing it out with my mam..

The watch is called britanic i think !!,,

it says either 15 or 75 jewels under the case.

There is also a number "142063" on the inside of the cae when opened...

Could U help me with any info about the watch and also if it is worth any money..

    thanks

It looks like a solid gold 15 jewel ladies' watch - possibly from the 1930's or 1940's. I can't make the hallmarks out because of the glare. Don't know anything about 'Britanic' - could it be Britix? The face is very nice and clean, but lacking any name. Have a look on ebay for how much obscure non-running gold ladies' watches fetch.

It eems to say Emila on the winding wheel - but that means nothing to me either!

1892: in a small ‘atelier’ in the Canton of Neuchâtel, the Enila Watch Company was established. With an independence of spirit, this family Company thrived creating magnificent timepieces following the handcrafted tradition of the region.

The brand has been resurrected. see:

Britannic will be the manufacturer of the bracelet - nothing directly to do with the watch.

What are the other marks on the inside of the case? It's not clear from your photo. Sometimes these hallmarks can help with ID. In particular is there a letter stamped there?

Movement is very likely an old FHF (Fabrique d'Horlogerie Fontainemelon) movement:

...which would place it around WWII (just before, during or just after).
