    Confused Need ID for TIMEX + Second Hand Stuck

    Hi this is my timex passed on by my dad and i need an id as the second hand is stuck and i need a manual.

    Timex often identifies watches in the small lettering at the bottom of the dial...

    Nope there is nothing at the bottom of the dial..., any thoughts on the second hand?

    The single highest percentage call is the hand is hanging up on another hand (ie it's bent). After that it gets to internals.

    Does the minute hand move? If not, it's internals. Unfortunately few watchmakers will work on Timexes as replacement movements is the standard fix. The claim often made is they were not designed to be repaired. This is actually nonsense but it pervades the industry...

    Yes the minute and hour hands move easily, the only problem is with the second hand...

    does it still keep time with sec hand not moving. Also I see its a quartz have you changed the battery
