A closer view of the caseback would give a dating (at least for the case) as it carries a London import mark, imported by George Stockwell, but I'm not going to try to guess what the date hallmark is from that photo.

If you read the stickies, you will understand why an evaluation is impossible to do.

Check out Auctions like Ebay etc to see how much similat objects go for!

It is very nice, it seems to be in a wonderful condition!

What does the text on the pillar plate between the escape and fourth wheel say (far right in your movment photo)? The design looks relatively modern to me...late 19th/early 20th century, perhaps. Random guess though. Movement looks nice, and while it's hard to say from a photo, the chronograph parts look top notch. The case looks well used, and surprisingly free of tarnish.

No - sorry - as Janne has already said we do not attempt to tell anyone what a watch is worth whether they are selling or buying. There is no fixed price for a used/vintage watch - you must make your own judgement as to what the watch is worth to you.

Please don't PM me to ask for a valuation - I won't attempt one.

And who did Heuer buy this from? They never made their own movements until recently. (They did contract for the creation of some movements but other makers had access to them too...)

I have only ever found this ID'd as above - it was from a general materials house catalog from Swartchild, which lists the manufacturer - not just who ever had their name stamped on it. It is also a very uncommon layout.

I can't comment on if Heuer physically made the entire thing - but this is its ID as per above.
