    Need info on vintage Lavina

Hello all. I just got a hand-wind Lavina and I'd love to find some information on it, particularly year of manufacture. The seller said it was from the 'late 40s' but I'm not sure how to confirm this (or not). It's obviously seen some wear, but it's working nicely. The case back says; SWISS MADE WATERPROOF INCABLOC ANTIMAGNETIC STAINLESS STEEL BACK. Dial is about 34mm including the crown.

Would also love to hear some strap suggestions! Thanks.

Need to get a picture of the movement to help identify what you have.

Strap suggestion? A plain, dark brown strap will do, possibly with contrast stitching.
    1940s? Unlikely. Mid-1950s, more likely.

With 4 adjustments it must have cost a pretty penny. It looks like a ETA movement but some parts don't.

The layout is ETA-ish indeed, but the shape of the balance cock pretty much rules out ETA as a possible manufacturer of this movement.

Exact and the click is in the wrong place as well. Does it say 150 or 1502 under the balance I wonder?

Interesting that Lavina also is stamped on the caseback as this is really unusual.

If I had to guess I would say a Gruen or Alpina movement.

I see. It might also be worth mentioning, that there also a little Lavina stamp on the bottom edge of the watch, between the lugs.

Thanks for these bits of information. Any ideas on how I can narrow down when it was made?
