Re: Need info for this watch

ah did a bit of a search and came up with this

Pinnacle Record Watch Co. SA Genf, Schweiz; registriert am 12.8.1936
(Dom / Kirche mit Wetterhahn) Pinnacle Watch Co. Ltd. Uhrenhersteller; 26 Hatton Garden, London, England; registriert am 1.12.1931

the same cone logo is on the movement. so i guess pinnacle was a company of record ?

Its very similar to bidfun-db Archive: Watch Movements: Record 022-18

    1940's I would think.

The movement also resembles a Russian Pobeda.

ah yes, the record 022 is what i came up with as well , very similar though not an exact match

do u think that the sterile dial is any indication that it is military?

Re: Need info for this watch

I wouldn't think so - although in that era I guess that many watches were bought privately by military personnel. There was a good thread on the subject of sterile dials recently https://forums.watchuseek.com/f11/why...ch-743095.html

    What, like this one?

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: Pobjeda

The Pobeda has the release screw for the keyless works on the wrong side of the winding stem so I would favour the Record movement.
