    Need a little help please...

Picked up this old watch off the ebay and wanted to know more about it,... the face has a faded brand on it; servel or marvel? can't quite make it out. Also, I can't figure out how to open up the case back to see the movement. Any help on either would be great! Thanks in advance.

Right above this thread is a post stuck at the top of the forum. It says "Dating and Identification - Read This First"...

Movement pics will help a lot.

This is not a pocket watch. Rather it is a snap in which goes to a wirstwatch case. Roamer made a number of these... but I don't think this is one.

Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

Definitely "XXrvel",.... I would love to show pics of the movement but can't figure out how to open the caseback. I can't find an entry spot to the case at all. The lugs/bezel-piece came free from the face/movement pictured as the crystal is also damaged.

Pull the crown off, it is a split stem. If it is hard to move, gently use some side cutters (the ramp part) to pop it off. Put your fingernail under the edge of the crystal and prise it off. Then you will have the dial held in by a ring. Using a fingernail or sharp knife gently prise this off, moving around the edge. Turn it upside down and drop the movement and dial into a tissue.
