need some help with vintage watch information

    Good afternoon!

I found a watch in an old box this morning that I was going through. It has to be one that was my grandfather's. I don't think it's worth much but could be wrong.

The watch is made by Tourneau and it has to be 30 or more years old. It has an automatic Japan movement.

On the back it says "Certified 40953"

It's not in the best of shape and could use some love. Who works on Tourneau watches??? I set the time today and it seems to be working fine. I synchronized it with my watch and it doesn't seem like it has lost any time.

Here are some pics of it...

What do you think? Any information positive or negative on this watch is greatly appreciated. Have a great day everyone!

First, let me say this: Do not wind it up again untill it has been serviced, as the oils have degraded, dried out or migrated to a different place to where they should be.
    This can ruin the movement.
any competent watchmaker (different from battery changer) can service it.
Value? Only sentimental value I am afraid.
    Worth fixing it?
Oh yes, it is your Grand fathers watch, and therefore irreplaceable!!

    Nice!

What was the name of the Seiko subsidiary that used to export movements to North America back then?
