    New to forum help with eternamatic

    Morning . I am new her so please bear wiyh.
    I have my late fathers eterna matic watch in perfect working order.14K #5816850 square face/w SS gold mesh band. Wondering the year and where to find a value. Also have my grandfathers pocket Elgin hunter in original case/w doly #10615095 I believe it is 1903. Thanks for any help. The guy at the watc shop wanted $160 to clean it and said it was only woth $25. Yeah right

    Please post some pictures of the Eterna... hopefully including movement pictures. That will help with the dating.

    Nice Elgin. Silver case. The prices named by your watchmaker are about normal for a service and maybe pessimistic on the value... but probably not by much.
