    New HMT Pocket watch Winding

    Hello,

I just bought this pocket watch from HMT. Very nice looking.
A regular zippo lighter for size compare.

    regards

Oooh, cute watch. I like the Albert chain that goes with it. It doesn't look particularly big, though.

Hi and welcome to the forum. HMT is an Indian watch manufacturer, I did not know they were making pocketwatces. Please show pictures of the movement? HMT makes their own wristwatch movements based on a Japanese design they were licenced decades ago.

HMT is using a Citizen manual wind movement. Our WUS Pilots & Military Watches forum has been running a never ending thread since April 2008 for the Pilot watches of this company, with over 37.000 views as of today (24 JAN 2010). For those who have not yet seen it, here it is: https://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=143071

Here is a pic of my own HMT Pilot, purchased new two years ago for about $15 and still performing very well. And please no comments about the dial quality, it is the original one and this is as good as it gets.

I think the Dial is Fab on your Pilot, Eric!

Do not forget that the Lume is hand applied by Kashmiri ladies! (I think)
Yours seems to be made by a new employee, as all my 4 Pilot's lume is not so wonky.
But as Kashmir experience slight quakes now and then, maybe that is the reason?

Do not worry, I see myself as an HMTiot!

And I am sorry, I saw on the HMT site that it is indeed a Gentlemans watch. To be worn in the shirt pocket.
