Very nice set. We don't see enough Timexes in here. And your French one is awesome.

Very nice x3! I agree, we don't see enough Timexes here. Terribly underappreciated IMO.

Thanks guys - the one on the left is smallish (boys watch?) but runs just fine - the middle one runs fast and I have been unable to slow it down - and the one on the right I have been wearing for 2 days now is keeping great time - got to love cheap vintage Timexes

Nice! Here's my Timex contribution. A friend of mine gave me this watch to "fix". The watch itself is a fairly common Timex/Date from 1978, but it has the coolest band. I was able to take it apart and put it back together, but discovered that the pins on the lever were too worn. So I ended up getting another, similar Timex and swapping in the movement to this case. Works like a charm now.

So...not meaning to hijack the OP's thread, but I thought I'd play along with a few of my vintage Timexes:

    L-R: Triathlon LCD ~1988, windup ~1975, LCD bar control ~1985, gent's Electric ~1967, gent's automatic ~1970's, two ladies Electric "Sportsters" ~1968.

    That looks familiar

My first new watch, in 1980. Now used by my son.

It was made in Taiwan in 1978 with all the parts made in Taiwan except the case which is from Timex's Scottish factory.
