    New To Me...

Two of the four vintage watches I've picked up lately. Another Hamilton (a Model A-517) and a 17 jewel manual wind Waltham are being overhauled.
The first is an Accumatic Model 201A with a calibre 689A automatic movement that I picked up in a trade.
I haven't figured out the model on the second ('Automatic X1'?). It has a calibre 815 automatic movement. $108 on the 'Bay. Wore it for two days and got 36 hours off the wrist.

The first is very distinctive late 1960s. Both watches have ETA movements, the first is an ETA 2451:

...and the second is reckoned to be an ETA 2770:

    Thanks for the info!

The A-517 pictured in the link is exactly the model I have being overhauled.

Does anyone have a model number and/or date on the cal. 815 brown dial Hamilton?

    Re: New To Me...

Sorry, I'll leave that to the Hamilton experts to sort out. Late sixties or early seventies would be my guess, based on style.....
