    New to Vintage Omega

    Hello all!

    I need to tap into your expertise with regard to the following Omega listed on Ebay:

    VINTAGE OMEGA 18K 18CT GOLD OLD WATCH CAL 511 RARE LUGS

    Im new to vintage watches and do not want to get scammed. Any help you provide is greatly appreciated!

    I'm no expert on Omegas, but:

    Its not an Omega case - can't see any Omega markings - and it says 'Argentina' on the back.

    The movement is finished in 2 very different shades of gold, and is probably assembled from 2 or more watches.

    I don't know enough to say anything about the dial; but I wouldn't risk it.

    In addition to the comments above, I am sure Omega would never put their name/logo on that lousy dial. Looks like some guy with painfully arthritic hands painted the markings on that dial. Ouch!
