Newbie can't remove movement from vintage Croton Aquamatic

The bumper is locked and need to get the movement out to clean. However I don't know how to get the crown off from the one-piece case. I am afraid to break it @[email protected]
Anyone can help? Thank you very much.

This will likely have a two piece stem. From the design, it may be a slip-out type (although those are rare). If it is, you just have to turn the crown slowly while gently lifting the movement; when the stem piece is aligned up/down, it'll slip apart.

However, most two-piece stems simply pull apart. I use a pair of tweezers to apply gentle outward force on both sides of the crown at the same time.

you gotta find the right spot to lift it out.

    Thanks a lot! It's done!
At first, I rotate the crown. But I couldn't find a position to release the movement. Then I use force and pull the crown off by a pair of tweezers, it works and the movement was released.
