    Newbie have a old Benrus

    Hi
I have been all over the web, have seen pictures of quite a few Benrus but not any that look like the one my Grandmother gave me. It has NOTHING on it but the word Benrus on the face and it is a ladies watch (picture is not great sorry). It looks like it may have had something dangling off of it toward the clasp at one time. It also looks copper color. Name: Danielle 045.jpg

Sorry picture is not clear enough for us to tell anything. Benrus is not an easy watch to identify and ladies' watches are even more difficult.

    Thanks,
I know picture is bad -- I was told something about it being pink gold and since I do not have proper tools to open it, I did not wish to hurt it opening it because it is in nice shape. It is also one of the few things I have from my grandmother. I will try to get a better picture since there is nothing on the outside of this but a number C99689 on the back. Thanks again...

Sorry for my silly attempt at a joke. Sharp close-ups of the front and back might allow us to match it to reference photos.

Rose gold usually means late 1940s - at least it does in men's watches.
