Nice French? mens pocket watch with questions

This is a watch I have had sitting around for quite a while,Lost it but found it yesterday. It works great, and is marked on the works L'alouette with a bird. numbers 504 on the edge, and I forget what it is called but has the button to push down for setting the time at about 1 o'clock. Trying to find out any info about it if possible.I believe it to be of French origins.
    thanks

    Stem-wind and...pin-set, I think is what it's called.

Ahhh, Yes I tink that is correct. Wind with stem but push button and use stem to adjust time while button pressed. Thanks

Yes that's correct. You wind the watch by turning the crown, but to set the time, you press down the pin and while the pin's pressed down, you can turn the crown to set the time.

I'm sorry, that's all I can tell you.

Yes it's French. Cylinder escapement made by Japy Frčres Paris. I'd say it's from around 1900.
