    If there are no markings on movement or case, it will be difficult to get any information. I would bet that the movement is generic so it might be more profitable just to try and identify the movement maker. It's a turn of the (19th) century stem wound and pin set cylindre escapement movement anyway.

    Hi guys,i found serial number on movement 839 and single number 6,does anyone know anything about these numbers?thanks

    Well, they could be a calibre designation, but without a maker's mark, it would be difficult to get any further. I am not sure what those three parallel lines are for but I doubt that they constitute a maker's mark.....
