This one I recently did record photos for after acquiring from a gold buyer
30+ years past. An heirloom saved by a family for a long time but finally sold for scrap during first big gold inflation. 1872 and 1915 initials for first 2 owners. A treasured pawnshop colateral piece with no evidence of use and servicing but runs. Near 3 0z 18K in first best 18 size model before National Watch changed to Elgin. 1868 second year. Have 20 year later BWR also saved from scrap at same time in 18K 2 million higher serial. 1888. As well as another recently acquired 14K a further 2 million higher same BWR. 1891. So I expect there are many gold cases that have survived after all. The old one very unusual in Puritain plain undecorated gold.
