    Now I'm a Zenith fan!

Ok it's just a ladies watch. But it was a pleasant surprise in a junk thrift bag and it's my first Zenith. I have to say I am impressed with the quality. The movement is lovely and there is no plating loss on the case. I cannot find a number on the movement. Would this be an in house movement? Now to find its mate!

It's a rare bird 1724C, in production 1969 only 5000 units were made of this movement. The base caliber was hand wound caliber 1730.

Very nice case design. I️ assume crown is a screw down?
Also, interesting location for the date wheel....haven’t seen that one before. What is approx width of the case (minus crown)?

@kidk007. The crown is push/pull. Screw down caseback. Case size is 25mm and 32mm lug to lug. Nice because it is not one of those tiny ladies watches. Only only other marking is number on caseback ... 611 D 620. Thanks for taking a look.

@Hessu. Thank you for the movement information. I don't think I would have found that.
