An ode to a stolen pocketwatch. Columbus King

I lost this to a break in years ago. It was a gift from my FIL.

    Absolutely beautiful!!

I hope the thief broke his legs, fell in a ditch where a pack of wolves found him. Nothing but an oxygen wasting POS.

    Hi there,

a pitty. Maybe we should take the opportunity to collect ideas, how a stolen-watch data base should work.

There are many, which are obviously useless, because they ask fees and/or personal data. Creating a program and keeping its use free of charge is easy, but how can one keep it anonymous and simultaneously keep jokers out? Another problem is the start: As long as only few entries exist it will be unefficient, and may discourage people to participate. So there must be a certain reward, and this can't be money because nobody is crazy enough to offer a service and pay for it.

    Regards, Roland Ranfft

Hi, sorry to hear it... It is one of the most beautiful watch movements I have ever seen!
    Can't stop watching, real beauty.
I don't want to imagine where it ended up, it makes me mad...
