    Old Alpha Watch, Ladies

I came across this watch in my collection and do not even remember buying it so I've definitely had it for awhile. Can anyone tell me about this brand? I'd be interested mainly in the year it was made, though I don't think it has much value to it as it isn't running. The watch is engraved 10k RGP inside but the band is 1-20-12k gold filled (I've also not found that brand of watch band. Any info would be appreciated.. snarky, sarcasm is also welcome lol. Thanks!! ~Vikki

Would you consider posting larger images? We will waive the image posting fee on this occasion. (That last sentence was an attempt at snarky sarcasm.)

There are several listings in the mikrolisk database, but the most likely seems to be registered to "Les fils de Paul Schwarz Etienne" (a Swiss firm) in 1935. I don't feel knowledgeable enough to date this watch based on the design cues, and I don't know the movement. Hopefully others will chime in.

The movement seems to be something from this movement family:

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: FHF 120 (Aurore-Villeret 120)

...which was probably made originally by Aurore Villeret, although there were also versions by other makers (this one here is by Fontainemelon, aka FHF).

I was about to suggest that even smaller images be posted, so we really can't see them

Oooh as I figured, you guys really know how to bring it. Seems I keep being taken to Germany in research of this watch. And as I thought also, prob not worth anything.

L.B.C.W.C. CO is inside the back case, I don't see a watch company showing on the movement. I'll have my son look at it later, he has better close vision than I.
