    Omega C267 2900-1 original hands?

    Hi all!

Could you tell an expert opinion about this omega? Are the hands original?
It is running nicely. Is it worth paying 800EUR for it?

    Thanks for your comments!

A simple, steel, hand-wound Omega (any, except stuff like the Ranchero) is usually worth a fourth of that price (that's an average). Even if a little bit more, then still not even close to what the seller asks for this one. So no, it isn't. It's a rip-off. Besides, without pictures of the movement and the case back(where the reference number is) I wouldn't touch any Omega with a ten foot pole.
800 euro is already the territory of the Omega Constellation, and brands like Jaeger-LeCoultre.

The dial looks like it has had significant cleaning from all the grunge on the periphery of the face which would me me worry about possible water ingress at some stage...Case has had alot of polishing too...the crown doesn't look right either unless it is just in the first position???? I think the hands are the least of your worries... As mkws stated a movement pic a must in any vintage purchase and look around especially on eBay sold listing for a better idea of market value...Not a good example for the money
    So many watches.....so little time.....
