That, not unlikely, is the most odd Omega movement I've ever seen. The base calibre is quite definitely Omega, likely a cal. 19''', with a chronograph module on top. With an enamel dial to match, it's most unlikely that anything's not correct here. I think the plates of the chronograph module were refinished at some point - I believe all surfaces should have a gold-tone, frosted finishing. The case dates to 1900 or thereabouts, the movement might be earlier on later, depending on the serial - which if not on the bridges, is located on the dial side of the movement.

Either frankenised or pimped. If they didn't pinch some bridges off another movement, they damaged the ones for this movement to the point where the gilt dropped off so they polished up everything, rhodinated it and gave it Geneva stripes. A pity that they forgot about the rest of the plates (but if they hadn't, we'd have had greater problems identifying it for what it is.....).

A pity - an otherwise very nice watch!

I don't think it has been frankenised in terms of using incorrect replacement parts, let alone any major components sourced from another movement. A module made to fit an Omega in-house movement wouldn't have the plates (or, likely, anything else) interchangeable with any other movement, and I don't think that back then Omega has used the "Cotes de Geneve" pattern at all. So, I believe the plates are original to the watch, only they were incorrectly refinished.

There do seem to be examples of both.

Movements of two chronographs sold at Omegaforums (not my pics - posted for reference):

Now, they're shots from listings, so obviously not to be taken as gospel. The movement largely identical to that in the OP's watch has a gold-tone, frosted finishing, but then again, could have been made in both versions.
