    Omega Electronic f300Hz Chronometer

Just bagged this Omega Electronic f300Hz Chronometer from 1972 with the original signed bracelet.
The movement is Omega's "upgrade" of the licensed Bulova/Accutron tuning fork movement. The
name, of course, refers to the tuning fork's vibration frequency of 300 times per second.

Can't wait to get my hands on 1968 Accutron "Railroad" needs a partner!

You will find this watch is more accurate than the 218 in your Railroader. And it is more positionally independent. It is a great movement and shows how much better you can do something when you have the chance to start over from scratch to do something the second time... both movements were designed by Max Hertzel.

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

    Hi There...

Great watches... mine says hi (also on orignal signed bracelet):

Great time keepers... love the 'hum' from the watch.... one thing to always check for when buying these, is the date works... as these have plastic date wheels that can easily get broken, resulting in the date not advancing!

Look forward to seeing some pics when it arrives!!
