    Orator Chronograph suiss

    Can anyone give more information about this watch ? The case is 18K rose gold , trying to figure from what year? And anything else that will give more knowledge about it.

    I think that this would be better off in its own thread. I am not sure whether it's a Chronographe Suisse - it may have an inner back cover and a Landeron 48 movement but normally, the main case of these is rather thin and has a thick, solid, inner base metal ring to support the movement. And it looks as if that's not the case here. Also, the "Chronographe Suisse" is missing from the dial.

    "Orator" was a brand of some member of the Schild family (but not the main one with Urs, Max and Adolf Schild) and located in La Chaux de Fonds. We have had a few "Orator" watches here before. The company even made some of its own movements and even made a chronograph calibre - sadly only for pocket watches. Ranfft has these details on the company:
